Hi my name is Melissa – A self proclaimed master dabbler and a comical accident-prone, pundit. I also know Jack, you know, the one with all the trades. Sometimes I think I should hone my skills to just one trade but how fun would that be? When we are small we are asked what do want to be when we grow up, who the heck knows? My younger self self wanted to be a princess flame thrower who kicked ass & saved the universe all while wearing my shimmering pink dress & having an incredibly amazing hair day. Sadly this profession was not available in any school curriculum.
Side note: did you know that according to the University of Oxford Scientists, younger brains learn things more easily and older brains… well lets just say, they tend to store information more efficiently. Great stuff, yeah? (Insert eye roll here)
If you are like me, finding where you stored your newly found particulars, may be an issue. But with a little dash of Dr. Gupta knowledge, a squeeze of psychological memory techniques, add a bushel of creativity, mix it in with a bowl full of absurdities, lemons and laughs and you will get MAD Creative. A little website with carefully curated, creative randomness.
Here, I am certain, someone, somewhere may learn & remember a thing or two about a thing or…… well lets just acknowledge that my wish is to give you the inspiration & belief that it is never to late to learn something new or try something new. We are only guaranteed 2 dates in life. The day you were born and the day that you die. Its the in between stuff that matters & believe me, it does matter. Too many people in my life didn’t have that faith or chance to try something new. My goal is to inspire others to take that leap, with a little bit in ingenuity, creativity & a whole lot of laughs. Even if its just one person, including myself. I am no expert & I am not perfect but I am me. So here I am, your Girl Friday, your MAD creative gal pal. Welcome.
