DISCLAIMER & OTHER MAD FUN STUFF

Before we begin:

A Little About Me

I AM…

  • AN ENTHUSIAST OF RANDOM THINGS- A visionary. In my world I see that all things are possible (well not all the time but most of the time) especially when someone shares their passion projects with me. I believe 1000% that they can do it & I will be there 100% to cheer them on.
  • MY OWN WORST CRITIC- I’m working on this.
  • AN EXTROVERT & as much as I AM AN INTROVERT – I will let you sit on that one.
  • AN AQUAPHILE, A THALASSOPHILE, A LIMNOPHILE, A DENDROPHILE, A SELENOPHILE & A ASTROPHILE – in short I am a lover of; water, oceans, lakes, trees, moons & the stars.
  • A DAUGHTER, A SISTER, A MOTHER, A FRIEND & CONFIDANT.

I…

  • have been known to talk to myself .quietly in my head.
  • window shop a lot & one inspiration can transpire to a slew of projects.
  • wear many hats however I don’t own any, beanies don’t count. (update I bought my first baseball cap, don’t know when I will wear it.)
  • begin projects first then figure them out later. (working on this)
  • It is a known fact, once I start a project, there is a 90% chance that I may start a few more at the same time.
  • can smell something before you do & it’s not in the good sense
  • am a cheesy clumsy dork, I know it & embrace it.
  • laugh at my own jokes – (hey, I think I am funny)
  • begin projects first then figure them out later. (working on this too)
  • do most of my projects at night when it is dark. I find that I am more focused then what’s going on in the outside world.
  • draw projects out on paper for my husband. If I tell him how I want something done he just nods, puts his hand to his chin & says uh-huh. His way of saying I don’t know what the bleep you are talking about.

Things You Should Know

When I first moved out, back in the day, I bought my first set of tools & RYOBI Power Tool Combo Kit. Ryobi brand color was still blue. I was scared to cut a finger off, so it took me a few years before I even attempted to use them. Occasionally I used the hammer and made a screwdriver or two, you know during happy hour. 🙂 I had no desire or the space to attempt to learn. Now ask me where the *protective guard to most of my power tools are? NO CLUE (shrugging shoulders)

* Please note I do not condone this, if you are asking why not, then I highly recommend that you find the nearest Stop the Bleed Training, to learn why & have your local EMS on standby.

I know what I know and do what I do because I am a visual person. I see it in my head then attempt to do it. I eventually research or read instructions later. I like to figure things out my own way. This is not the best practice and there is a lot of Youtube content for do it yourself- I will sometimes attach a link as well.

More Things You Should Know

  • I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL ( I didn’t go to school for this stuff, I just do what I do)
  • If you have any questions about any projects, I will try my hardest to answer them in a timely manner, with as honest and as accurate as I can be but am not certified to guide you.
  • Any questions on your love life, children, partner or any other inquisitions, will be redirected to a professional, but on a more serious note I will be as open and as vulnerable as I can to share kind words of wisdom, hope & love.
  • I DO NOT endorse one thing or another, What works for me, may not work for you. I am a inspirer not an influencer.
  • I AM NOT PERFECT & I EMBRACE MISTAKES, If you notice something before I do, send me a message.
  • I TAKE ALL CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM- I may pout about it, throw a tantrum or two, ball up in a corner & console myself but eventually I get up and realize its part of the learning process.
